3. We know they are all going to lie...it's the media "stupid" but |
|
I think Kerry and Edwards have the energy and the charisma to get beyond the mainstream media and win this thing.
I've really been encouraged to hear so many at this convention speaking to the bias of the media..especially Obama comes to mind and even Edwards tonight..no wonder they thought he was negative.
cnn must have financial ties with saudis or carlye or somebody high up in the republican party.

2. when he was with his focus group |
|
he noted that dems and republicans hated Edwards line about how "we won't wait 3 years to correct the problem" which they saw as a cheap shot. BUT Luntz admitted that the audience loved every other part of his speech.
the bottom line, according to Luntz, Edwards had one bad line that was negative.
The best part of the focus group was it was mostly Bush voters half of whom are not voting Bush this time. The reasons were varied and I don't see how Bush can fix any of them. Like: the war in Iraq was against the wrong country, fiscal irresponsibility. Remember these were Bush voters who now are voting for Kerry.

8. They were all former Bush supporters |
|
and were "bush leaning" undecideds, so they actually drifted into the Kerry column for the most part. I didn't get the disatisfaction with Edwards though. The too young comments got me. He is 51 for God's sake. Is it a crime to look good?

4. He was in the brainwashed region but it looks promising! |
|
He was polling from a very conservative part of the state. Once again, this is presented as "representative", but it's not. It was solid Bush country. So what he was showing is really good news!
Imagine going into Delay's neighborhood and finding similar results. We'd be cheering the house down (rather UP!!!)

6. I thought the panel was a big plus for Kerry/Edwards |
|
It was a conservative area, & a bunch of former Bush voters are unhappy with him.

My SO was watching that Luntz focus group with me, and they were just so profoundly stupid that she said,
"Just turn the channel, you have to be stupid as shit to be an "undecided" at this point. They are certainly proving that!"
Hahahahaha!
She's right, you know.
