Just got back from a concert ... what did I miss?
I saw Annie Lennox and Sting perform tonight. FABULOUS -- see them in concert together if you get the chance!

Now ... What are the highlights of this evening's convention events (I have it all on tape ... but what should I watch first and what should I fast-forward through?)

4. we also learned
That the principled delegates who voted for DK are single-handedly dividing the party, and bringing us down. Those bastards! So much power in the hands of so few.

Like, a bum trip, man.

5. Media whores...
say that Sharpton was simply yelling the whole time, embarrased the dems, and went way over his time forcing the dems to rush through other important speakers....

6. Sharpton can yell all he wants, as far as I'm concerned.
We need some YELLERS in this party, or those bull-in-a-china-shop Repugs are gonna ride roughshod over us.

12. Annie was so ON tonight ...
... that lady has the bod of a 17-year-old, and a voice that could only have come straight from God. My GOD but she kicked ass. She puts so much emotion into her singing, and she moves like a champ on stage! I do hope you'll get the chance to see her.

And Sting, of course, completely ROCKED the place.

I am so hoarse from screaming like a teen-ager!

But I kept thinking about the convention throughout the whole concert ... wondering what I was missing, praying for Edwards to give a great speech!

BTW: When Sting sang the line "You could say I lost my belief in our politicians / They all seem like game-show hosts to me," the crowd went NUTS. Then, I REALLY wanted to get back home and watch the convention!

Sharpton F'ed the Republicans.

CNN anchors were blown away. Accused sharpton of being "off message" by getting incredible crowd reaction.
