5. I really wish they had stuck him at an earlier time on an earlier day
He doesn't deserve such a prominent spot

Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 01:17 AM by Sugarbleus

9. I think primary candidates are getting good slots
I've seen Kucinich, Sharpton, Graham, Gephardt, and Dean all get time slots after 7:30. I may not have supported him, but I don't mind him getting this slot.

7. I hope Joe doesn't undermine the message and momentum.
I keep talking about looking for the things that unite us and cooperation throughout the party, but Joe is close that line where you become impossibly incongruent with core beliefs so that no unity is even possible. Some of the things he said as he was preaching centrism were extremely hard for me to take.

8. Like it or not, and I don't like it, he was elected Vice President of the
United States. As long as he's not on prime-time, they really must let him speak. I hope they keep it very short.

I hope he will show a measure of class and not defend Bush or the war. I hope the delegates can show a measure of respect and not boo his ass. Just get it over as quickly as possible and move on.

He should have been on a 5pm eastern time on Tuesday night.

And I just heard Hannity tell Lieberman he's the only "reasonable" Democrat he's met at the convention. :puke:

10. I suppose if you're going to reach out to the middle,
Lieberman is decent prop to use. He gets lots of positive play on Fox News. Personally, I think that should be enough to disqualify him from speaking at the convention altogether, but there you go.

11. Ugh. That whiney voice...
Frankly, I see him as a saboteur; a neo-con wolf in sheep's clothing. I'd prefer to see him exorcized from the Democratic party altogether.

12. We can do without Joe
Saw him tonight sucking up to Hanity telling him what he wanted to hear. Liberman has always had his own agenda for wanting to be Iraq.
I wont say.....
Hes boring and hope he doesnt ruin the upbeat momentum with talking
why we should be in Iraq......hope hes just his plain boring self.

16. He's not going to be on
from 10-11 will he?

That's the time when the networks cover it as well.

Either way, I hope he doesn't undermine the campaign by defending the war and I hope the delegates can resist the temptation of booing him.

I'm really worried he will defend the war and then the delegates start booing. That wouldn't be a pretty sight.
