Luke Tiahrt Remembered
Wichita
Associated Press

July 28-- Hundreds of mourners turned out today for
the funeral of the teen-age son of Kansas Congressman Todd Tiahrt.

Luke Tiahrt died Saturday, an apparent suicide victim, at the
family's home in suburban Washington, D-C. The 16-year-old was the
youngest of the Tiahrts' three children.

He was remembered at the public service as very outgoing -- but
also somewhat shy and sensitive. He was a musician and artist. His
sketches were on display, along with family photos and his school
letter.

Luke would have been a junior this fall at Woodson High School
in Fairfax, Virginia.

Among the many dignitaries on hand were House Speaker Dennis
Hastert, House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and House majority whip
Roy Blunt, as well as other members of congress and community
leaders.

1. Hey, fellow Kansan...
I'm originally from Clearwater to the southeast. I'm in Tulsa now. You still in Wichita?
