He's screwed up or failed at virtually everything he has touched as President, and has relied almost exclusively on deception and secretiveness in order to protect himself from the fallout.

That's a completely incompetent way to serve the public, but perfectly reasonable once one realizes that he was never qualified for the job in the first place.

You know what really scares me, though? The Peter Principle is often quoted with an additional clause: "an employee will rise to a level of incompetence and remain there."
