The media needs to find out if our unstable leader is now on drugs.... |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 08:18 AM by kentuck
It is a national security issue and it needs to be answered. Can he be trusted on drugs? No! He couldn't be trusted when he wasn't on drugs. The media owe it to the people to find out if this story is true. If not, nothing has to be published. Let it die. But, if it is true, they have an obligation to tell the people about it. This is a serious issue.

:) I just want them to know that we know. If there is investigating to be done, it will be done by others. However, wouldn't it be nice if we did have a responsible press?

policies! I can't see them actually covering this...Rupert's not going to pay for it!
Maybe some indie press will, let's hope someone breaks it. I'm not holding my breath though.

6. Unless you can get to his barber and snag a hair sample |
|
for analysis or the White House charwoman can manage an insert into the Oval Office toilet to get a urine sample, you're out of luck.
An untreated dry alcoholic with significant neurological damage (which Bush is, IMO) is going to look like he's drunk or drugged from time to time and still be completely clean and sober.
There are enough reasons to oust this man and the gang of thieves and wack jobs surrounding him without accusing him of being heavily medicated. Let's concentrate of dumping him for his bungling.

Who Cheney meets with in his office. You think they're going to let us know what prescription medication the president is on?
Mr. President,
Please open your medical records so we the american people can be assured you aren't on any dangerous prescription medications. I know medical records are a private matter, but all I want to know Is whether you're taking dangerous mind altering drugs. In a sense of openness, I'll list the drugs which have been prescribed to me in the past year. Advair, Singular, Albuterol, Protopic, and Elocon.
Thank You.

12. Not that it isn't relevant or proper but ... |
|
I can't imagine any major network reporter asking if Bush will release a list of the prescriptions he's taking. They would be fired or reassigned to Iraq if they did.
We need a foreign news organization to pursue this and do the job of our lazy chickenhearted librul media.

Don't most of you realize, even beyond the ZERO credibility that CHB has as a news source, that most people in the country are on, or have a family member that is on, anti-depressants?
Three of the four in my immediate family, and 5 of 6 in my brother's, for example. Yes, they can be overprescribed. But that is up to each doctor-patient relationship and it is your responsibility to inform yourself and make the best decision for your family. Haven't you read the papers lately, been to a doctor...? Zoloft, Prozac, etc. are the most common prescription drugs in the country these days. If there is anything at all to this story, I tend to think it is something along these lines.
We all know Bush is a psychopathic, delusional, sadist. But his behavior as president tells us that. "Revelations" that he may be on anti-depressants will do nothing more than allow him to play the victim card, a tactic that millions of Americans will identify with.
