More Cheney lies
During a speech to Marines at Camp Pendleton, Vice President Cheney said "President Bush is determined to remove threats before they arrive… so America acted to end the regime of Saddam Hussein." Juan Cole says Cheney is "simply lying," because he "knows that Baathist Iraq posed no threat to the U.S." www.cursor.org

1. Reminds me of the biblical Herod
killing all of the baby boys before they could grow up and threaten his position as king.

4. Thats the point...
It's kinda scary the logic that they're using. By their logic a threat is no longer someone we know for a fact has plans to send their armies across the border. Heck we don't even have to have the enemy have their armies at the border.

IF they just don't like us...then we need to invade them...

Wow that'll work. Nice Bush Doctrine.

3. Since when do the American people confuse lying with strength?
When did that happen? Why do people think smirky/snarly are better equipped to deal with terrorism when all they do is LIE? They lie about threats, they lie about solutions, they lie about why they hate us. AARGH! I wasn't planning on watching the republican convention but I am going to tune in when Cheney gives his speech so I can witness firsthand the misconceptions and misrepresentations he gives about this administration.

5. Since Rush told us to think that lying is strength.
Hannity repeats it and O'Reilly confirms it. Lie, cheat, and steal:
Bush, Ken Lay, and the 2000 election. It's the American way.
