Does Bush have longtime friends like
John Kerry has? Watching the coverage of Kerry coming across Boston Harbor yesterday with his Vietnam buddies of 30 years and hearing one of them say the Kerry had supported them for all these years...I just wondered. I don't think I have ever seen or heard of an old friend of George W. Does he have any?

To me, having the kind of friends that Kerry has says volumes about the man.

1. Sure - Karl Rove
and the late Lee Atwater. Like you said, the kind of friends a person has speaks volumes.

4. Of COURSE Bush has friends...
In place of Kerry's Vietnam buddies, Bush could fly into NYC on the Enron jet with Kenny Lay. Or maybe he could watch the convention with his terrorist-backing Saudi buddies at the Saudi Consulate in NYC.

Or maybe he could attend services with those fine "Christians" Pat (I knocked up my girlfriend and had to marry her) Robertson and Jerry (Am I too obsessed with gays or am i just bi-curious) Fallwell.

8. James Bath who was grounded from flying with Bush
and also arranged for Bush's Harken shares to be purchased by Salem Bin Laden - a small revelation thanks to Kerry's BCCI investigations.

Gee...why doesn't James Bath show up and talk about his over 30 year closeness to George Bush (that netted Bush is his first million dollars) and give us the details of that friendship?
