LONDON, England (CNN) -- A British parliamentary committee has warned that Afghanistan is likely to "implode, with terrible consequences" unless more troops and resources are sent to calm the country.

3. Civil war, factionalism...
...the country being divided up into fiefdoms controlled by the various warlords we armed and enabled. You know, the standard bullshit Rumsferatu and Cheney are known for that always ends in massive blowback.

4. Soviet invasion, and its consequences...
Soviets held Kabul and littl else. Puppet government had no popular support in the countryside; rather, they seen as infidels to be expelled.

Sovs left, Kabul falls, Taliban comes out of the hills and takes over.

Ten years later, planes are flying into buildings.

I'd avoid working in obvious and important structures in about a decade, if I were you.

5. When Doctors Without Borders pulls out...
you know it's really bad!

They are in 80 countries (20 war zones). They just don't leave unless the situation is desperate.
