There's no love lost between the families, it goes back at least to '79-80 when they were competing for the GOP nomination.

BCCI and IranContra showed Bush was WAY more in the loop than Reagan ever was.

I have no doubt the Bush's good friends the Hinckleys allowed Bush to use their son with mental problems to help him become President sooner rather than later.
