"Plan Of Attack"-should I throw it out?
A few days ago I bought Bob Woodwards book Plan Of Attack and the night I brought it home I heard O'Reilly asking Micheal Moore "Did you read Bob Woodwards book? Bush did not lie to go into Iraq."...

Now I can't even bring myself to pick up the book and start reading it.

If one page of that book absolves Bush from his sin(s), the whole book is bullshit to me.
Did anyone read it? I have two small kids and so little precious spare time. I would hate to waste that time reading propoganda.

I thought that book would be great because when it came out a few Dem sites were saying it was terrific.

Thanks in advance.

1. I have it
Haven't read it, but I think it's supposed to expose how Bush informed Bandar of the plan before Colin Powell. I've got a lot of other books on my plate right now, but eventually I'll read it.

2. I don't know of any Dem sites that would recommend anything written....
...by Woodward. Let's just say that he has an active imagination when it comes to interviews that has claimed to have conducted.

4. There are some revelations in that book ...
the pre-911 planning of the Iraq War is one example: It essentially corraborated Clarke's and Paul O'Neill's assertions ...

12. Gosh, what a surprise, that.
What with Woodward being such a riveting speaker and exciting person.

Just the mere invocation of his name causes me to hear his relentless drone in my head, and I can't make it stop! AHGHHGH!

I don't even know what to say to this. Like I haven't got time.

9. I don't understand why you're being nasty
I make it a point to be informed. That's why I switched from Republican to Democrat in 1998.
From Iraq, to the air at Ground Zero to the Plame incident, ect. it is a fact Bush is a liar and crook. I don't want to invest time in a book that makes excuses for Bush.
If I want that I'll watch cable news. Try not to be so crass. I was just asking for help.

14. I have it, i got it as a gift
still haven't cracked the cover. If you're looking for a good book with lots of * info you may want to pick up American Dynasty by Kevin Phillips. It traces the roots of the Bush family, very good and informative.

17. O'Reilly's is misleading people about the book
It waters down the information so as to not say too much. I don't recall if it goes into the lies. If not, it's irrelevant on the subject.
