My first Bush Protest tomorrow, help me design a sign...
I am in religious wacko GOP Southwest Missouri. Bush is coming to Springfield tomorrow? Should I have a pro-kerry sign? Should I poke at Bush's lack of fiscal responsibility? Job loss? Iraq war? Abig sign that says, "Liar." One that says "No WMDs, no relationshiop with al qaeda" than a picture of a burned and screaming Iraqi boy?

1. When Bush comes here I was thinking of having my sign say
Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 01:01 PM by noahmijo
something like

YOU'RE THE ONE THAT REFUSED TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

*An optional measures would be to write "Not Kerry" after the word troops.

5. How about
Jesus would drive these moneychangers out of the White House!

Good luck. I would love to show up on a bus route with a protest sign but since I am in GOP "safe" Texas, it ain't gonna happen. OTOH, I don't have to see any annoying campaign commercials while watching TV.

7. "I voted in 2000 and all I got was this lousy President"
You can swap "President" with "Idiot" if so desired.

Actually, now that I think of it, the very sentence "You can swap "President" with "Idiot" if so desired." sort of has a nice, weird flourish to it.

AMERICA DEMANDS A BETTER COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

16. What country would Jesus bomb if he were president
Protest what conservatives don't like about Bush. Pick a subject where Bush deviates from traditional conservatives, such as big budget deficits.

19. here's one my 8 year thought of
he was all excited about the primary , and rode his bike
around the block . While he was out he struck up a
conversation with one of our neighbors about 5-6 houses
away. This is my sons account :

my son T : "So the election has started and Kerry is
winning "

neighbor: "what about bush?"

T : "No, bush thinks this world is a video game "

Neighbor : look of puzzlement "well have a good one"

T "yes good luck with that see you later"

LOL I nearly fell over when he told me .

so a sign saying "Dear bush , the world is not a video game"
might be cute :hi:
