1. I voted
Voted no. It's one thing if the judge wants to have it in his office; it's another thing to display it in court, where justice is supposed to be blind.

3. Still 55% Yes
I consider myself a Christian & I voted NO. I just don't want the government mucking about in "my" religion, nor do I want religion mucking about in "my" government.

4. 55%! These people want a theocracy!!
Someone quoted something Janene Garofolo said in yesterday's Crossfire thread about this (paraphrasing the paraphrase):
"Democracy is about informed debate and asking questions. Religion doesn't lend itself to that. It is unquestioning faith. That's why it's called faith!"

6. I voted No
I am not a Christian (am an agnostic of Hindu background), and am uncomfortable going to a courthouse that displays any religious scriptures.

8. Wow!
Are the Iraqis better off now than before the war?
19% Yes. 81% No

4 to 1 say no! I find that surprising. I'm one of the "No's" but i figured i'd be in a bare majority. Wrong, was i.

9. Appropriate to have the Islamic call to prayer in the state courthouse?

Watch how they change their tune when it's somebody else's religion that wants to be expressed.

10. Still 55%
have never heard of the separation of church and state. It's a country of ignortant shit-heads who must have slept through civics class. Too bad people are allowed to vote when they know nothing of the Constitution. Most would flunk the test that immigrants have to take in order to become citizens here.
