Is it just me, or has every station had an anti-Kerry vibe going on during the DNC? If you listen to CNN, take whatever they are saying about Kerry and insert the name Bush. They would never talk about Bush the same way!

3. My take on it is that...

the democrats are dominating the media at the moment. Given that, it is also in the media's interest to try and stir up controversy in any situation. More controversy = more viewers = more advertising $$$$.

I am not saying they are not slanted (Faux News aside), but you have to take the whole media operation into perspective.

I was changing channels after the convention last night and on Larry King everyone but Tucker Carlson was saying that Edwards' speech was just what was needed. And on Tweety's show they were also saying positive things about the speech.

Where have you been? Limpballs, InsHannity, O'Really, and all the other media talking heads say it is. They are big in the media and they can't be wrong, right?

CNN has given up all pretenses of fairness. They are shilling for the Repugs 24/7. They are fighting to pull viewers from Faux. Good luck with that. They could double their audience if they decided to be the anti-Faux, instead of trying to be a clone.

And, no, the Repug convention will be all flowers and candy. Puff pieces ad nauseum.
