not showing up in our local media yet, but I got this.
Their actual number will probably be higher. I kind of know a guy who works for them and he isn't turning his numbers in til tomorrow: --------------------------------------------------- Nader Campaign Submits More Than 23,000 Signatures in West Virginia
Washington, DC: The Independent Presidential campaign of Ralph Nader submitted more than 23,000 signatures today in West Virginia. West Virginia requires 12,962 valid signatures submitted to the Secretary of State. The campaign surpassed its goal of 18,000 signatures. The signatures were submitted days early as the official due date is August 1.
The Nader-Camejo campaign is active collecting signatures for ballot throughout the United States. Forty-six states have their deadlines in July or later.
Ralph Nader said “I look forward to campaigning in West Virginia. The Nader-Camejo campaign is offering the voters more choices and more voices in the presidential campaign. Unlike the corporate, political duopoly we are calling for a responsible withdrawal from Iraq and ending the hold corporations have over our government.”

1. I want each of those signatures scrutinized |
|
None of this canvassing bullshit. I want each signature, each and every one, checked and verified. If there is so much as a disconnected phone number listed, an un-dotted "i" or un-crossed "t" or an illegible signature it should not be counted.

being that anal retentive?
whaether you agree with ralph or not (i stil don't know where i stand), you shouldn't go out of your way invent a reason to invalidate them.
if they're legitimately invalid, that's a different story, though

|
but this:
"is so much as a disconnected phone number listed, an un-dotted "i" or un-crossed "t" '
is something a little more than that

Has he ever been here to WV? I doubt it.
I used to like Nader. Had respect for him. NOT ANYMORE!

7. It bothers me that he is back to equating repubs and dems. |
|
Kerry also wants a "responsible withdrawal" -- he just doesn't want to leave the country BUSH FUCKING INVADED to civil war and misery. So what does Nader propose -- we invade and then get the hell out of Dodge and leave the Iraqis to more misery?
