My e-mail to Tweety (WE NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE IN THE MEDIA!)
Chris Matthews: Instead of listening to your stupid voice speechifying, interrupting, and lying, PAY ATTENTION TO THE CONVENTION!!

How can Mr. Matthews say that nobody has tackled selected President Bush's policies and errors? Did you listen to President Carter? Did you listen to President Clinton? did you listen to Barak Obama? WHAT CONVENTION ARE YOU "COVERING?" The cocktail of lies, misinformation, and misleading questioning of panelists and delegates that passes for journalism in Mr. Matthews's brain is unrecognizable in a world that isn't BUSHWORLD. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE NON-PARTISAN. The horror of this convention's coverage by the Bushworld press is something to write in history books for the ages.
You are not that smart, or that handsome, or that well read and informed that you cannot be replaced. While it is true that you belong to a corporation heart and soul... our country needs journalists not corporate attack dogs.

AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY YOU HAVE Mr. Turtle Gillespie to comment on OUR CONVENTION!!!

1. We're Either Screaming Or Boring...
Yawn...This convention is exposing the media for it's complete ineptness and bias. They've attempted to turn the convention into their own stories...going by storylines they wrote up, pre-determined, before anyone got to Boston.

I'm glad to see PBS's ratings are more than the three cable networks combined (not counting C-SPAN)...which says a lot of people ARE tuning out of the cable networks.

I fully expect starting after Kerry's speech the "recapping" of how nasty and negative this convention was...running Sharpton's remarks and showing Chelsea and Hillary clinking champagne glasses.

The media is totally conflicted...they bet on the wrong horse and are damned if they're gonna be proved wrong. In essence, the same thing the right wing complained of in the 80's and early 90's. In those days it was a limit of media outlets, now it's the proliferation of them.

2. as long as you're writing to Tweety
why not put a p.s. in there reminding him of his embarrassing performance after the chimp's carrier landing. That's something I'm sure he and Fineman want to forget, let's not let him.

3. Tom Brokow
What is with him, he seems to be critical of everything at the convention. Tonight he was saying Kerry is wrong about indicating he could get help from Nato for the war and that it was not Bush that Nato and France and Germany was against but the war itself.

Greenspans wife again constantly saying nobody knows who Kerry is. Thats bullshit as much as they talk about him.

7. WTF was up with Tweety dissing Sharpton's speech?
Tweety kept trying to get Gillespie to agree with him that Sharpton's speech was angry and divisive and whatever other stupid things he said. I kept scratching my head wondering what the hell Tweety had been watching. I thought Sharpton's speech was GREAT! I even watched it again on tape. I was right the first time, it was GREAT! Matthews is such an idiot. Now he's trying to grill Sharpton asking him how Clarence Thomas was helped by Brown vs. Board of Education. Now he's talking about Tawana Brawley. Matthews is getting his talking points right from the RNC. Good job, Chris. You're doing a "great" job reporting on the convention. Get a life dork.

8. Well, did you miss his actual attack face-to-monitor with Al Sharpton?
IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.
