Can Kerry really be a uniter?
I don't doubt he'll try his best to be bi-partisan in some of his actions, but will the hard right wingers allow this? Or will they fight and obstruct like they did under Clinton?

1. They'll try to obstruct, of course. Count on more election stealing and
gerrymandering and filibusters and crap of all kinds.

It is going to be a tough four years, but still a durned sight better than the last 4 years.

He drew a circle that shut me out
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But love and I had the wit to win.
We drew a circle that took him in.

We are the United States of America.
From the many one.

3. Think of the automatic war-time tendency to follow the President,
Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 08:05 PM by Feanorcurufinwe
and how much that has benefited Bush, and now imagine what that will be like with a man of integrity leading our nation. Think of the millions of people who will be moved to vote this year who were never motivated to do so before and what that could do to alter the balance of power in Congress. And as Jesse told us, keep hope alive!

4. Didn't you hear Clinton the other night?
The right wing doesn't want a united country and won't allow it to happen whether they are in the white house or night.
