I saw this man talk tonight. His name was John Kerry. Perhaps you've heard of him. He didn' tell me to be afraid. He told me to have hope. He told me America is a good place to be, a place where people love each other and work for each other and try their very best to make the world better. John Kerry didn't try to scare me. He didn't try to make me love him by claiming he was the only barrier between me and those who might want to hurt me. John Kerry told me we're all in this together, that we're all Americans, that this country and its people should not be afraid.

Hope.

They gave me hope.

You give me fear.

I choose hope.
