All I'm going to say about the speech is this.
John Kerry just went to a place George Bush can't go.

1. Absolutely...

He simply cannot live up to that.

Ever.

Not ever.

4. for starters

* can't pronounce all of the words correctly... no way he could
even read that speech from a teleprompter. All the stage craft
in the world can't make * into a statesman.

5. I would say

Game. Set. Match.

But the media propaganda whores will keep it fairly close. After the Repukes declare culture war...Kerry should be a shoe-in.

8. It was a true priviledge....
to have listened to that speech. We should all be so proud, so moved - and so confident that we will win in November. We watched coverage on PBS - all 5 commentators were positive (even Brooks, perhaps grudgingly) in their assessment. There is hope indeed!

10. I cheered many times
This was just the apex of all watershed moments this convention has given us. Clinton, Theresa, Gore, Obama, Kucinich, Cleland, and many more. I will salute and respect President Kerry. He is a great man; a true American hero.
