I wouldn't recommend it. There really is such a thing as a 'mob mentality' and it's not something you are proud of experiencing once it's over.

56. For one thing,
they did NOT show the Wes Clark speech which was terrific!

But overall, they just bad mouthed the Dems, every chance they got.

They had right wing talking heads on, talking negatively about everything.

It was not journalism, it was opinion throughout.

And Candy Crowley was the worst, IMO.

69. MSNBC much, much better tonight....
and other than Scarface saying he rushed through it, the coverage was predominantly positive with even Pat Buchanan, for all intents-and-purposes, giving him an endorsement. More than likely, he won't admit that, but you can tell by the way he's talking, it wouldn't kill him if Kerry wins.

I haven't watched CNN since Day One, when they showed what their true colors were, but others have been reporting. Wednesday night, they had Ralph Reed critique John Edwards's speech.

I demand that the DNC chair be allowed to critique Bush*'s speech.

Woodruff, which he handled swimmingly. She looks more haggish every day.

But I have not watched these networks regularly since the day Air America came on. AAR filled a void for me.

If the truth be told, it's the liberals that are probably the audience, because we actually pay attention to world events.

I refuse to watch anything on CNN except Lou Dobb's coverage of outsourcing. Although, I did get curious after Kerry's speech and switched from CSpan to CNN for a few minutes. Sure enough, there stood Candi Crowley in the crowd, complaining about how dirty it was (due to the confetti) and she had a stunned, pissed off look on her face.

I'll be happy to join in any effort to maintain that stunned, pissed off look on Candi Crowley's face. :D

Goodbye, CNN......

There was a time when you reported the news according to basic journalistic principles....."Just the facts, ma'am. Just the facts."

Now, however, your newscasters intentionally shade and shape their semantics towards a right-wing bias that smacks of organized Conservative propaganda. Blitzer, Woodruff and Crowley are the most blatant, egregious and obnoxious examples of this practice.

That you allow the White House to influence your reporting (ala the Letterman fiasco) is simply unprofessional, unamerican and unacceptable.

My days of enduring skewed and distorted news are over! I can no longer - in good conscience - support you as a viewer and am changing the channel to the news agencies that still maintain honesty, integrity and non-bias in their reporting.

Goodbye, CNN. Goodbye!

70. Quit watching them a long time ago.....
....when they started deciding it was more important to talk about what dress Nicole Kidman would be wearing to her latest opening, than reporting the news.

67. We all buy 5 shares of stock a piece and do a hostile takeover.
We can ask Ted Turner to go in with us. If you own stock you can vote on the board of directors.

78. Probably by watching too much CNN.
If you watch enough Crowley, Woodruff, Blitzer, and the rest of their "reporters", he looks liberal.

84. I've been boycotting TV news since shortly after the 2000 selection.
It's the only way to go if you want to remain sane. The only problem is I don't know what advertisers to write about my boycott. Oh, by the way, I've spent less money since I started boycotting TV. There something about watching TV that makes you want to spend money.

85. Yep.
TV turns many people into docile, ignorant consumers.

A right wing mind control device.
