List the celebrities you saw at the dem convention
I'm curious who was there wearing their politics on their sleeve.

Last night I saw Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker

Wendie Malick (from "Just shoot me") whom I adore, was shown on the convention floor several times.

Richard Kind from "Spin City" was there, and I saw Rob Reiner up in the nosebleed seats.

They interviewed Richard Dreyfuss, and of course, Ben Affleck was everywhere.

This year I really have alot of respect for these actors, they have been bashed to the nth degree by the pseudo-news corporateers.

26. Did you see the look on Cusack's face when Kerry...
told G.W. not to suspend the Constitution in the days prior to the election? It was like "FUCK, YEAH!!"

I almost jumped out of my chair when Kerry said that. The speech was just fandamntastic from start to finish.

14. You and me both.
'Grand Canyon' is one of my favorite movies (I'm a Kasden fan) and loved Alfre Woodard and Danny Glover in that movie. They both rock!

16. And I think Star Jones was sitting up behind her.
If it wasn't Star Jones it was someone even more beautiful than Star Jones, this woman was a bomshell.

28.  Apparently. Wow.
"Star Jones, a lawyer and former prosecutor, is known to television viewers for her candor, confidence and uncanny ability to clarify muddy legal and social issues. Her knowledge of the law and talent for television has won her critical acclaim as a news and legal correspondent.

Ms. Jones debuted on television in 1991 when she started moonlighting as a studio commentator for Court TV during the William Kennedy Smith rape trial. She was quickly lined up as a guest on the Today show; and a few months later she became the NBC legal correspondent for Today and Nightly News, covering the latest developments in the Mike Tyson rape case and the Rodney King police brutality trial. She landed an exclusive interview with Tyson after the imprisoned ex-heavyweight champion had dodged the press for a year and an exclusive interview with King after the sentencing of the two Los Angeles cops convicted of violating his civil rights. That success led to her own syndicated show, Jones & Jury."

from http://www.abc.go.com

Apparently she has drawn the ire of atheists lately for saying she would not vote for an atheist.

I'm actually not sure it was her, but it sure looked like her.

5. Willie was there?
Awesome awesome awesome.

He kind of confuses me, does "that's the news" then does a public lynching theme song with Toby Keith. I think he tries to play it safe, but it is good to see him at the convention.

18. No way is Willie Nelson trying to "play it safe"........
He was a Kucinich supporter who wrote an anti-Bush/anti-war song. Willie is also a good friend of the Clintons, in fact Bill introduced Willie Nelson at Nelson's 70th birthday this past year. I love the guy, can you tell? :)

I also saw Cynthia Nixon (from Sex in the City).

25. Yes, but the song with Toby Keith is despicable.
"hang them high in the streets/for everybody to see"

what is up with that?

and he won't release "Whatever happened to peace on earth" his anti-war protest song.

Oh, yeah, that's right, I got confused, Merle Haggard wrote "That's the News".

Country stars really have to walk a fine line these days.

32. He also wrote the anti-war song
"Whatever happened to peace on earth?" with the great line, "How much oil is a human life worth?" Willie's his own man, one thing I admire about him. Toby Keith says he (Toby) is a Democrat, so go figure on that one. I don't listen to country music much anymore, so not sure if they're playing Willie's song. My guess would be no, but hard to say. I did like the video he and Toby did together, "Beer for my Horses". Funny and uplifting, IMHO. Just struck me--that's not the public lynching song you reffed, was it? Yikes!

Anyway, I too was glad to see Willie at the convention. Also saw photos posted by DU conventioneers of the actor James Cromwell, so he was another "star" in attendance.

Bush MUST GO!!! (We all know that, huh?)

15. Bono looked like a rock star even in the middle of a bunch
of red white and blue freaks! It was funny, he looked charismatic, but somewhat out of place in his black clothes and sunglasses.
