The convention -- all days combined -- was a home run

I've only had the privilege of being politically aware enough to have watched four (or eight since I watched the Repug events, too). This convention is by far the best from either party in the last four presidential elections.

This one is OFF THE CHARTS on everything that matters.

All the primetime speeches were delivered with sincere, plain-spoken conviction. The speeches were all so moving and heartfelt. I felt so proud of America and or the leaders in the Democratic party. I cried every night of the convention.


Kudos to the Kerry team for creating an event that showcased American values, American optimism and American pride.

I don't know if it was just that I had such low expectations, but this is the best convention that I can remember too. All of the speakers were passionate, critical and hopeful. Some smart folks are running this campaign and tonight is the first time that I've felt that we were going to win, and win big, since Kerry secured enough delegates for the nomination. It's a great night to be a Democrat.
