It was a near on-camera meltdown when Aaron Brown called on her for commentary. Her savaging of Kerry in CNN's hour-long doc, "Born to Run," might have been for naught. Her reward for ceaselessly undermining Al Gore's campaign might have reached its limit. The man who gave her a nickname, "Dolce," could well be a one-termer, just like his Dad. She could think of nothing to talk about, except the balloons suspended above her head.

television moment. As I posted above, Candy was in some kind of odd state when Aaron Brown called on her for commentary after Kerry's speech. Aaron looked bewildered, and got her quickly off air.

After Sharpton's amazing speech, her 1st 3 questions were some variation of "Reverend Sharpton, you've hijacked the Democratic Convention by going off script and over time...how do you feel about bumping Edwards out of prime time"

Reverend Sharpton was much more polite ("For the third time, Candy, they reviewed and OK'd my remarks") than I would have been. I would have told her that * should have had her in high heels in the 70's and he may have finally struck oil
