CNN: "When it comes to choosing a president, results matter," Bush said
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/07/29/bush.returns.ap/index.html

President Bush and first lady Pickles prepare to depart TSTC Airport on Thursday in Waco, Texas.

CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) -- President Bush, criticized by Democrats during their four-day convention, opens a new phase of his re-election campaign Friday by promising better times and fresh ideas for America.

"We have turned the corner, and we are not turning back," he says in excerpts of his new stump speech obtained by The Associated Press.

Beginning a two-day swing through four presidential battlegrounds, Bush planned to take a subtle slap at Democratic rival John Kerry.

"When it comes to choosing a president, results matter," Bush said.

Is that all Bush can say? Bush hasn't produced ANY results!!! Only either billions of dollars of money in handouts to corporations disguised as bills, or programs without funds to make them of any use!!! ANYONE could TOTALLY trash Bush on his record!!! HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHA

7. he's pretty touchy about 'turning,' coming off of a week of bike mishaps

U.S. President George W. Bush waves as he walks across the South Lawn from the Marine One helicopter with first lady Laura Bush and their pet dog Barney upon returning to the White House in Washington, July 29, 2004. They're not taking any chances - both Laura AND Barney give * wide berth.

thanks to his friends running away with others' pension plans.

Results certainly do matter.

18. On Monday night before her speech, CNN caught up with Hillary, who said...
"I'm going to be SO glad when they're out of the White House."

I was stunned and impressed. She didn't mince words. She expressed the same kind of "completely disgusted and fed up" attitude that I'm sure exists in MANY Americans.

Kerry (and many others) have been 100% correct in referring to this as "the most critical election of our lifetime."

17. Results matter?
Ah ha! I KNEW he wasn't really reading the 9-11 Commission Report.
If he was, by now he'd actually know what the 'results' of his presidency were. Then again, he wouldn't understand it anyway, so what the hell am I talking about? LOL. ;)

If he isn't on medication, he should be.

21. Anyone notice that "pickles" wears those pants suits that the RW deplored
when Hillary was First Lady. Wonder is Rush will call "pickles" "robo-hips?" And remember, Bush swore that women would not wear pants in his WH. Does Pickles change at the door?

Edited on Fri Jul-30-04 12:14 AM by Caliphoto
Results count, that is why we're all voting for Kerry. Bush? He hasn't done jack shit.. the only things he's accomplished are BAD things. They are just so pathetic and desperate. Remember when Al Gore got over 1/2 million more votes than Bush ,and that was BEFORE we knew what a miserable failure he was. He was running as an unknown.. now the world KNOWS that Bush has no results to tout, only lies.
