On CNN headline news, he was the "balance" to the speechifying. He gave the speech a 7. Said it wasn't the best, but it would do. He said that Kerry's intention tonight was simply to pre-empt all of the charges that would come his way. Then he said it was a "do-nut" convention -- no middle, no substance. All negative!

Kerry put BUSH on the defensive tonight. The talking heads can say all they want but he communicated tonight and America GOT IT.
