Do you ever wonder how people like bush do it?
Now we all know that bush is a liar, a scandolous asshole, etc. etc.... but have you ever wondered how they can lie like they do, or start a war in which we lose 1,000 troops and the other side loses 11,000 + civilians and then call us unpatriotic for not supporting the useless bloodshed? Or how can rush preach family values and call us immoral when he's a drug user and divorced thrice? And since when was liberal a bad word? I thought we were the compassionate ones. How does bush call himself compassionate and us bad while we support welfare in Iraq and he forces more families into poverty so he can write off another tax break for Enron? How do they do it?

Ok, rant over.

4. No one exists for Bush out side of his circle of elites
The people who fight and die, the people who are poisoned by the DU, the people losing their homes and jobs,,,they just do not exist for Bushie. As long as he has power and can lead his privileged life, all is well in his world.

5. Schmooze, and connections.
Nothing beats the ability to create and leverage social connections, and the ability to befriend others. Not honesty, credibility, talent, intelligence, *nothing*.

A man with 15 great, honest, caring, friends is a pretty decent guy.

A man with 15,000 "friends" is a politician.

6. very simple
Have BIG friends in important places brought to you by your father * Sr. Also, have a brother who is in charge of Florida, and have friends at Fox News who make up lies about the votes being counted wrong...claiming Bush won, and then have the rest of the media follow Fox. That's where all this way able to happen: by Shrub-ya being put in office.

8. They invented the echo chamber

All of them have their "talking points" rather than original
thoughts. They cover the airwaves with their lies, over and over.
Lots of people, if they hear something reported by "news" people
are ready to believe it (they are stuck in the era of Cronkite
and Huntley/Brinkley where TV news actually did the reporting,
not just take a bunch of talking points and parrot them).

Then they portray anyone who thinks for themselves as "elitist"
and "ivory tower" and so on, not in touch with the "wisdom
of the middle class". This is how they get the people who are
of more average IQ to blindly follow them (remember that 1/2 of
the people have, by definition, IQs of 100 or less). They build
these people up by giving them the ability to be "better" than
the ivory tower liberals and fancy pants (WTF does that mean?)
elitists.

Anyway, I could go on, but I think you get it.
