All he had to talk about was how the balloons didn't work, poked fun at Kerry resuscitating a "gerbil" (didn't even get that right, it was a hamster), then proceeded to shake his head in disgust and say "That guy (Kerry) was SO lame!" Of course, his cohorts Heidi and Billy squealed with glee at his moronic statement. I thought Hemmer would never stop laughing.

If you listen to that show, you will see that his job is to be the daily cynic. I know that, and I can accept those comments from him.

I'll accept your point the day I see him being "cynical" about any right winger or republican. He is the "court jester" and springboard for allowing the rest of the morning show whores to laugh and pretend it's OK to bash Dems. He sets it up and Heidi, Bill, and the rest of them run with it.

Oh, he has his purpose on the show alright, but it's just to legitimize all the Dem bashing that goes on. Why don't they have a "Jack" counterpart who trashes the Rethugs all the time? See how it works?

thanks, though. Yeah, ole Jack has been a real rag-tag spoiler on the daytime show for a long time. He really is just a "prop" for lead-ins to RW talking points and to give the morning crew a segué into Dem bashing.

I'll have to say this. Jack has gone over the top a time or two and Hemmer or another has actually had to reign him in, and have done so. I just think they should either get rid of him OR... get someone on there at least every other day or so in his place who can be the "Dem's curmdgeon". Peace! :hi:
