need debunking help from yall :)
Capped by Kerry's primetime speech to accept the Democratic Party's nomination, Thursday's program will include appearances and remarks by Kerry's Swift Boat crewmates, the Kerry-Edwards campaign announced in a press release this morning.

But a group of veterans will soon try to convince a nation how what is presented on the convention stage tonight -- may not be the full story: "Only 2 of John Kerry's 23 fellow Swift boat commanders from Coastal Division 11 support his candidacy today."

A new bombshell book written by the man who took over John Kerry's Swift Boat charges: Two of John Kerry's three Purple Heart decorations (#1 and #3) resulted from self-inflicted wounds, not suffered under enemy fire.

The startling Purple Heart accusations, outlined in detail for the first time, are found in UNFIT FOR COMMAND, Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry.

And that's just the beginning.

The book, previewed by the DRUDGE REPORT, will be unleashed next month by REGNERY.*

The book hit #2 on the AMAZON sales chart on the eve of the Kerry acceptance speech in Boston.

Swift Boat Veterans began to fume after Kerry's campaign used a photograph of John Kerry and 19 other Coastal Division 11 Swift boat officers in a pro-Kerry advertisement.

William Shumadine, a member of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth pictured in the photograph, explains in UNFIT: "John Kerry's use of a photograph with his nineteen comrades, with knowledge that eleven of them comdemn him and six who cannot or do not want to be involved, is a complete misreprentation to the public and a total fraud."

Here is the link for the book:
Unfit for Command

Also if you do a search for the booktitle online you can find more details on why his "friends" believe he is unfit for command.

1. Do a little research on these guys

and you start running into all sorts of Bushista operatives and
BFEE lawyers and crap. And not too far under the surface either.

And I would note on the Purple Heart thing... it's always 2 of
the 3... why? because he still has some shrapnel in his leg from
one of them, and the xrays to prove it... so that one is kinda
hard to explain as "he scratched himself" or other nonsense.

and then say OK, so what if he only was slightly wounded and
got a purple heart. What about the silver star (it's one medal
below the medal of honor - which most recipients get posthumously)?

And then ask how many medals shrub got while he was AWOL from
a non-flying assignment with the Alabama Air National Guard, and
ask why he wasn't flying (didn't show up for the required physical).

I don't think they want to start this war veteran crap... it's
a loser issue for them.

3. I thought that
every one of his swift boat guys (that are alive today) were on stage last night. That's obviously supporting him.

4. None of those people served with Kerry in Vietnam, but they want you....
...to believe that they did. The guys that served with Kerry were introduced last night at the convention.

As far as who I'm going to believe in regards to Kerry's war record, I'll believe the guys that stood on the stage with Kerry last night. If you saw that, then you'll understand.

Additionally, there is NO issue in regards to Kerry's Purple Hearts. Those were awarded based on the recommendations of Kerry's commanding officer and endorsed up through the ranks.

If you do enough research on this, I believe that it will lead back to a guy by the name of John O'Neill. Here's Joe Conason on the subject:

5. the one guy has been after Kerry since the 1970s
I think he is the one who wrote the book. He was on the Dick Cavette show with him ages ago and he hated that Kerry came back and went "anti-war." He did NOT serve with Kerry, he took over after Kerry left, so he has NO first hand knowledge of Kerry's grace under fire.
There were some great photos of Clark vs Bush that came out when Clark was a candidate Clark "Silver Star" Bush "silver Spoon" someone should reintroduce that photo with Kerry on one side and Bush n the other.
