My parents met Kerry and Edwards this morning

my parents rock :) they both took today off work to attend a Kerry event this morning and lucked out and got to shake his and Edwards hand and speak briefly to Kerry.

from our AIM conversation:
his (Kerry's) family were all there as was edwards his kids are really cute.

they were on their parents shoulders and the little boy had a sign with a pole he took the sign off and used the poll as a telescope to scan the crowd...

me: i thought his speech kicked ass

mom: me too....he did great...i actually thought it was better than edwards...oh, and i think that It's a beautiful day is officially his theme song....which is great because it reminds me of the pats first sb win

My parents rock :) My father hasn't been politically active since the 60's and Nixon was such a huge blow to him that he hasn't voted in a Presidential election since. But he's voting this year and he's really excited by Kerry. My mom is still a political junkie like me and has been doing a ton of volunteer work for the party and Kerry.
