I think they'll go after Edwards now.....
THE SPEECH was SO effective, that I think a lot of effort will be redirected into going after Edwards: his youth, his "inexperience", his being a heart-beat away from the presidency.

1. They might - probably even will.
But, I don't really think it'll get them very far.

2. Watch out for Elizabeth...
This gal is terrific. She is smart. Speaks well and if anyone says anything against her hubby, she'll castrate them!!!

4. I'd argue that Edwards is way more qualified now to be prez than
* was in 2000, so that seems like it would blow up in their faces.

3. So what is better, an in-experienced President, with bad advice from an
experienced VP? or an experienced President, with good advice from an in-experienced VP?

Dems need to hit Cheney on his POOR JUDGEMENT.

I don't care how experienced you are, if your JUDGEMENT IS POOR, your experience isn't worth anything.

5. WHY does everyone talk about Edwards' youth???
He's 51 years old! Bill Clinton was 47 when he was elected President, and the Shrub was 54.

6. No way - they're more scared of Edwards ...
... than Kerry. He was the candidate they feared the most coming out of the primary.
