"[Saddam] had to go. 9/11 changed everything" - Mark Davis (WBAP)
Mark Davis melting down on WBAP 820 in Dallas/Fort Worth. He says that anyone who looks at America crosseyed after 9/11 has to go. Check it out! DU the show if you can!

1. Well everything did change after 9/11
Black became white

Repression became Freedom

Day became Night (actually that one happens every day, right around 5:30 to 8:30)

And so on.

2. The myth of "everything changing"
How many times in history have leaders insisted "everything's different now" in order to justify aggression?

Anyone who makes this claim is seriously history-challenged and should go back to high school. Politicians should be required to take a comprehensive history and philosophy test.

3. That's Not Even Necessary
Simple logic indicates that it's patently false.

The only thing that changed on Sept.11, is that idiots like Mark Davis, found out, in living color, that there were people in the world that REALLY hate America.

The fact that he already didn't know that, is proof of his idiocy. Those people hated the U.S. before 9/11, they still do, we're still in danger of them acting on that hatred.

So, nothing at all has changed since 9/11, except that the dumbasses had their eyes opened, and are behaving as cowardly lions.

4. WBAP is one FAUX variety wingnut host after another. DFW area.
In addition to Mark Davis, they have Limbaugh, Hannity, Mike Gallagher, and I'm sure I'm missing one or two others. Typical loser RW lineup, one right after another. I can't believe people want to hear the same crap spewed hour after hour.

Even if there WERE such a thing as real liberal radio beyond AAR, I wouldn't want to hear leftist wingnut hosts hour after hour with the same viewpoint, incredibly boring. Plus all the anger of these wingnut hosts is incredibly unpleasant. THEY HAVE ALL THE POWER NOW. WHITE HOUSE. HOUSE. SENATE. SCOTUS. MEDIA/TALK RADIO. WTF DO THEY HAVE TO BE ANGRY ABOUT, THEY'RE THE ONES WHO SCREWED THE POOCH!

5. Mark Davis is a Rush wannabe...
I started listening after I saw your message... I heard him say that two of John Kerry's Purple Hearts were as "phony as a $3 bill, trumped up to get him out of Viet Nam." I sent a comment to WBAP defying Bush to get on stage with anyone he served with... I'm done with WBAP forever.
