because you have to know how much your provider(s) charge for services and then save money based on that.
It's ok for routine things like checkups; but you're out of luck if you didn't budget for a catastrophic accident or illness.

Something that most ordinary people don't have. Secondly you have to have money to spare in abundance to cover the ever increasing cost of medical care that's rising faster than inflation. If you can't cover your medical costs today how are you going to cover your future costs?
The whole idea of a savings account for medical expenses is ridiculous. It's another GOP scam.
