So, Why Have I NOT Seen Any Snips Of Kerry's Speech on Headline News?

Grrrrrrr....

I've had it on in the background now for a few hours while I'm doing some chores and I just realized that I have NOT heard a segment on Kerry's speech last night. They run a Bush speech segement from today and have his ridiculous Hollywood slam, they run a segment on Kerry/Edwards 21 state campaign swing w/ a clip of Edwards speaking ABOUT Kerry's speech, but they are not running ANYTHING from the speech or any segment that has snips from Kerry's speech or him talking about or discussing his positions...

It's infuriating...

1. Don't expect any, either

The media monopolies (there are just 6 of them, you know) are terrified that with Powell's witless son gone from the FCC, their glory days as monopolists will be over, that antitrust legislation will be enforced for the first time since the Carter years.

They're right about that.

So don't expect to see any words coming from Kerry. They will continue to yammer about the horserace and the travel plans, while playing Bush soundbites.

This is what we are up against.

2. I saw one...

... but it was really short, and consisted solely of Kerry promising to strengthen the military.

I think the cable news people are afraid to give Kerry airtime, since they can't find anything to criticize.
