Last night, we talked about not watching CNN and MSNBC ever again, due to their limited coverage, their obviously conservative talking heads...I think we need to pick up this thread again, and go one step further...flood them with emails today.

I know alot of you don't like Brokaw, Jennings and Rather....but, as a whole, those old-school broadcasters are much more even-handed in their reporting. Compare them to Tweety, Wolf, Andrea, Scarborough, Aaron Brown (I used to actually like him). Yes, they are all owned by big corps, which must shade their opinions, but the Big Three are less ego driven, more secure. God, look at the ego on Tweety and even Imus. To me, there is a big difference between the opinion-broadcasters and the Big Three. As for me, think I am switching to Lehrer in the evenings, and I have already sent my emails...please join me!!!

1. A WORTHY post!

I've actually been using the phone this morning. Called into the CNN comment line (404) 827 - 0234 - then after it connects, press 8 to bypass the long recorded intro and get thyself more quickly to a actual human responder. I've been calling, in particular, demanding that they report the latest about Sandy Berger - being CLEARED OF ALL WRONGDOING by the National Archives.

I just called the CNN comment line for a third time and complained about the conservative bias. I said THIS IS THE DEMOCRATS' WEEK! We have heard for almost FOUR YEARS from all republi-CONS all the time. We've heard MORE THAN ENOUGH!!! What are you trying to do, become another Pox "news" network?

THEN, I said, by the way - are you reporting on Sandy Berger being CLEARED OF WRONGDOING? She said "yes, we HAVE been informed about that and we ARE working on it." I responded - What, you calling laura ingraham for reaction?

THEN, I said, just so you know, I know about your slanted coverage because I am READING about it. I'm NOT watching CNN anymore, because I totally object to the non-stop conservative BIAS!!!! We LIBERALS like the news, too, you know.

9. I didn't email. I called.

I called my satellite provider and removed local channels, which include the networks. I cannot remove CNN or some Fox channels because they are part of every package. But I did let them know I'd like a package choice without them, and why. Then a call to CNN and Fox to explain why I don't watch any of their programming.

10. I am sad to say I agree about Aaron Brown

CNN was unwatchable this week, but I confess I flipped channels from time to time, and there was Aaron Brown talking to Laura Ingraham about the Democratic convention. (Why her? She isn't a reporter, she isn't a journalist, what is she supposed to be that gives CNN a reason to ask her opinion of the DNC?!)

They also turned to people like Zell Miller, Ralph Reed, and of course the endless hot air of Bob Novak.

They are indistinguishable from Faux this week.
