1. Didn't they say that the DEFICIT INCREASED DRAMATICALLY?
He is saying that we are ahead in the program for cutting the deficit?

2. They expected the deficit
to be 450 billion. Came in at 445 billion.

Smoke and mirrors.

4. he must be using the sandbagging tactic
I was talking about this the other day ... I think there was an earlier projection that put the deficit at around 500 billion or more, so now they can say 440-445 or whatever and say, "Look. We're making progress. We're being fiscally responsible." ... they started this whole thing before the 2000 debates when they intentionally set the expectations for Bush so low that when he managed to stand on stage and not say "Hitler is my hero," they could jump up and down and shout about how he had exceeded expectations (the very ones they set themselves) ... it hasn't really stopped since

3. So, we have net income losses
and massive tax cuts for corporations and the super rich, yet tax revenue is increasing? Is that what he's trying to say?

Fuzzy math again.

6. I am sorry, I wanted to report on this but it is so patently UNTRUE
and he is pushing for making the tax cuts permanent and the questions from the audience are so much pablum.... I cannot listen anymore. THE QUESTION SHOULD BE: YOU ARE CONSTANTLY LYING TO US. WHY SHOULD WE BELIEVE YOU THIS TIME?
He even acknolwedged that they usually overestimate consumer spending!
