Bush's Budget (and Bush) just slammed on C-Span!
Edited on Fri Jul-30-04 02:23 PM by The Spirit of JFK
Sen. Conrad (North Dakota) and Rep Spratt (SC), the ranking Dems on the Budget Committee, called it irresponsible, dangerous, and saying the Bush mislead the American public on it.

They had pie charts..graphs...comparisons to the last few presidents, and everything!

Also slammed the Repubs....since they control the House, too. "They have control of, the White House, the house, and all the money...and they have YET to produce a budget...and they have YET to come up with a plan."

Sweet!

The gloves are off.

1. Republicans have a record of fiscal irresponsibility
They've had the Presidency 24 of the past 36 years.

The House for 10 years.

The Senate for (well I'd have to look it up) but for much of the time going back to Reagan.

They're the party against debt, deficit spending, and for a balanced budget.

They've run up the debt, are stuck on deficit spending, and have never produced anything close to a balanced budget.

Maybe America will catch on to this scam by November.

2. You know what's crazy?
They want to expand the debt limit. These people are insane. They want to bankrupt the govt.

3. Bankruptcy
Aren't they the ones who want to reduce government so they're going to do this by expanding the debt limit and bankrupting it??? Sounds to me like 1-1=3.
