One more elderly woman dies and asks that Bush be defeated in her memory
How many is this?. . .there was the lady in Wisconsin who coined the phrase "whistle ass" and I seem to recall another.

Woman's Dying Wish: Bush Defeated
Loved Ones Asked To Donate To Democratic Cause

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- A South Florida woman who died this week had an unusual last request. Instead of flower or contributions in her name to a charity, she asked those who loved her to try to make sure President George W. Bush is not re-elected.

Abbey was born in Montreal, but lived for many years in Miami Beach and Aventura. Family and friends came from as far away as Canada and California to remember Abbey at the Mount Nebo Jewish Cemetery in Miami.

Abbey, who was a lifelong Democrat, died Monday -- coincidentally on the first day of the Democratic National Convention.

Joan Abbey, shown here before her death, wanted most of all to have President George W. Bush lose the November election.
Loved ones said that Joan Abbey was committed to her political passions, even in death.

7. My best friend's aunt, a life-long Dem and a
high ranking officer in the military died last Friday, and all through the convention I kept thinking "Mildred, would have loved this convention." Rest in Peace, Mildred; you deserve it.

5. Too bad she didn't get to see the Convention of two Centuries.
I was looking to find her age but she didn't want it known. Poor thing..I think people should be proud of their age.

8. I am 56 and healthy, but I could have the Fred Sanford "Big One" tomorrow.
I will take care of my health to:

1. Take care of my dear wife and dogs.
2. See Bu$h defeated in November, and be a part of that crushing defeat (I'm talking landslide shit here, folks).
3. See the entire Bu$h family disgraced, cashiered, and convicted.
4. At some point in time, piss on a Bu$h grave.

11. The presiding rabbi, a Bush "Democrat" criticized her for it!!!!
snip>
Coincidentally, the presiding rabbi, Brett Goldstein, is a registered Democrat but is voting for Bush, and he questioned the timing of Abbey's message at such a sensitive time.

"My contention is that if there's any situation that's sacrosanct, it should be devoid of political ramifications," Goldstein said. "Although people have the opportunity and they can do it if they want to, it is not really appropriate at this time."
