Will You Watch Any Of The Republican Convention?
I don't have any intention to watch any of it myself. Actually I pretty much expect that I will forgo my Morning Edition as well because the Convention is all they will be covering. I've got a couple of audio books on tape I should listen to anyway.

How much attention do you plan to give the thug-fest?

By the way, did you see the replay of Bush's 200 Convention acceptance speach that was shown on C-Span 2 right after Kerry's speach last night. Aside from his inability to speak it was shocking to me to see how much he has aged in the last 4 years. He looked like a teenager then compared to a very tired aging man now.

32. precisely
They better have the SAME ratio of dem pundits to counterbalance the RNC...
If they don't (and they wont) it will be clear to everyone finally that the myth of the liberal media is just that: a myth.

A Yooper is a person that is native to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In other words the U.P....downstaters are called Lopers....

Anyway... there is a small town in the U.P. that uses the name Nimrod as their H.S. mascot.

I think they are the Watersmeet Nimrods.... hehehe.. Jay Leno had the basketball team on the Tonight Show a while back... espn used them in a commercial also...

If your local blockbuster has it.. there is a movie written and directed by Jeff Daniels called "Escanaba in Da Moonlight"... it is a hilarious movie about a hunting camp in the U.P with a Family of Yoopers trying to get their buck...... not a blockbuster but.. funny non the less... :-)

13. You won't be able to ignore it--they will saturate the media markets
This is what you will see and hear:

Bush will be lauded as the greatest orator ever;

NO protestors will object to the convention or Bush;

Everybody will have makeovers--Barbara, Jenna, Laura...Barbara Sr., CIA involved/Saudi-rep Poppy...

And all of the balloons will drop on time. :eyes:

19. Actually you just reminded me that there will be almost a
Million protesters in NYC and that's going to get some attention. I was going to go but after the uplifting of the Dem convention i don't think I want to. There will be plenty of People there and I want to save my travel for the Inaugeration.

15. I could only handle small doses... otherwise I would puke...
I also agree with BayouBengal07 about the very little time the national networks covered the DNC ... and will be watching to see how much time they give the rnc... I heard on NPR today.. the national networks covered less than three hours of prime time of the convention.... that is the least amount of time since coverage started back in the 40's. The scary thing is.. this is probably the most important election since then... at least in my lifetime.. and I was born in 56...

37. He hasn't aged
from sleepless nights and hard work, that's one safe bet. I wonder what's caused the aging. Any ideas? :beer: I've also noticed the whoremedia shows four year old pictures of the chimp whenever they can. They are actively hiding his unattractive appearance and weight gain. No, I won't watch it. I'll count on my friends here to inform me of the various outrages from the repukes AND the media.
