Thank God for C-SPAN!!!!!!

I am extremely grateful that I have C-SPAN. Had gavel-to gavel coverage of the Convention with NO talking head in sight. Giving lesser known persons aa chance to let themselves have a national audience.
At first it was disconcerning that the broadcast networks were giving scant coverage, but then I was glad that PBS was giving prime time coverage. However, they were just as bad as Fox, MSNBC, and CNN, telling us what we already heard. :mad: (Jon Stewart ripped into the cable news networks for this on TDSWJS Thurs night!!!!!!!)
For example. did anyone here agree with the pundits on Clinton's speech Mon. night?? I, as well as the convention crowd, enjoyed Clinton's speech;; then I was aghast when I listened to the pundits saying what a failure it was. So Tues onward, it was C-SPAN, baby.
By the way, it wuld be a good idea in the spirit of fair play to tune ne into the Repuke gathering but then I will end up screaming at the TV instead.:mad: :mad:

5. OMG! I heard someone on du Thursday night saying something

about what sign Al Sharpton was holding up but I didn't see it until NOw! That is so funny! I imagine it had tweety head seething! Good!

I tell People today that I'm coming off a four day high! My son said on the phone that I was Demo-crackic!

I started Mon and went right thorough to Thursday on C-span..I was so lucky I could watch all 32 hours of it!

7. didn't think I would watch the whole thing

but I was hooked early on!

I would like to believe that I have a life; made plans to do other things in addition to watching the DC. Nothing else was done. But DC was a swell show. I could go into another rant about the suits at the cable and broadcast networks but I'll save that for later.

I felt as though I was at the Convention. It was fun to enjoy the excitement without some pundit raining on my parade.
