What Would Happen If They Stole The Election

Earlier this evening I immagined the day when an unscrupeled President asks his single minded devotee and most trusted advisor, "could we get away with taking the election by rigging the vote counting?" The sage old advisor considers the question and then slowly answers, "you could do it, but if they catch you they will hang you." As I immagined such a conversaton I began to wonder, just what would happen if the Republicans got caught red handed stealing the election. I mean with some sort of evidence that was utterly irrefutable. Who would do what to relieve them of power? Would the Court become irrelevent? What would the military do, what about the congress? What about the people?

Some believe that Bush can do no wrong, and it has nothing to do with what kidn of evidence you present. For them, this would be a call to arms, as we are trying to right a wrong.
