So, When Can We Expect Some POLLS?!
Anybody got a clue? I'm itching to see some post-convention polling. I'm really hopeful.

I'm sure there will be a Newsweek poll out Sunday. Probably a Time/CNN poll too. But who else? Will Zogby release a poll tommorrow? Do pollsters usually release data on Saturday mornings?

1. The polls will be buried
The corporate media will, at best, cite right wing pollsters.

There will be an information block on the negative polls for Bush.

8. Here's the capsule from Zogby...
New Poll Shows Kerry Five Point Lead

"While the Democratic Party rallies in Boston at the Democratic National Convention, the presidential ticket of Massachusetts Senator John Kerry and North Carolina Senator John Edwards holds a five point lead over President George W. Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney (48%-43%), according to a new Zogby America poll. The telephone poll of 1001 likely voters was conducted from Monday through Thursday (July 26-29, 2004)."

4. Heard Zogby today. He said it's too soon to take a poll.
Any polls taken right now won't be accurate. You have to wait a few days for people to think about what they heard and saw, talk to their friends, their family, and settle on a conclusion. "We will be calling people over the weekend, and should have some good information by Tuesday."

7. the problem is weekend polls aren't all that reliable
so it could be toward the end of next week before we see any solid meaningful polls
