My baby brother ignorantly joined the Marines in 1983, and he was a real dumbass. He could have done so much better. They sent him to Parris Island in January where he got double pneumonia and nearly died. The remark was meant sadly and affectionately. On reflection, it was in very poor taste. I apologise.

I'm just sickened by the waste, and very sorry for the widow...

on edit: I googled news on Iraq about an hour ago and I've been reading story after story. Its starting to get to me. I'm really sorry.
