What is it going to take to keep the momentum going
Edited on Sat Jul-31-04 03:02 AM by devrc243
I just got through listening to Barack Obama and "Senator Kerry'" speech and each time I am energized and pumped! It would be nice to go live in a world where Republican pundits and rwing blow-hards didn't spew their hate and bias and we could all just get along.

However, with that comes TRUE leadership amd to be a true leader one must humble himself and becoms the agenda they are trying to pledge. The media KNOWS they have nothing to spew.

1. You know here in Montana, wearing my Kerry button

I do talk to some Bush supporters. And after this convention, I feel like a prophet. Because I've been saying the same thing to say that the convention said - we're not enemies, we're on the same side, we're Americans, and whoever wins the election, we have to try to work together. And I get a pretty good response from that. (Of course, it's easy to be gracious when you are as confident as I am of victory.)

2. BushCo's policies will be a good momentum maintainer . . .
every time they announce another outrageous initiative, more voters become more likely to vote for Kerry . . .

3. We're going to have to counter the neoconservative media's attack
Kerry is going to be "niggered" by the word "liberal" ad infinitum. We need to prevent his campaign from being reduced to one word by Bush's Goebbel tactics.

4. Debates
I wish there were more than 3 scheduled. One every couple weeks sounds about right.

But I think as long as they keep hitting the swing states and spending at the same levels, the momentum will not faulter.
