MSNBC poll
Edited on Sat Jul-31-04 09:02 AM by zuzu98
Do you think * or Kerry will keep the country safer?

Kerry is doing very well now, but a few more DU votes wouldn't hurt...

(tried to post the link, but I must not be doing it right. Here's the website: www.question.msnbc.com)

16. I HATE it when people post this sort of "advice"
There are MANY of us DUers who count it as a point of honor that we do NOT vote multiple times in online polls! That's something that the other guys do -- cheat.

You've just provided *them* with all the ammunition they need to claim that the poll results are void and mean nothing, because they can now say that WE are skewing them by multi-voting. Thanks alot. :grr:

30. No, it makes you a discerning thinker...
who is willing to take other viewpoints and fresh data into consideration and revisit previously held opinions and revise when deemed appropriate.

Unfortunately, that does not fit very well on a bumper sticker. ;-)

Thanks again for changing your post.

28. Evidence of my favorite complaint---------
Yes, it's at 70% Kerry and 30% Bush---but if you watch polls like this on MSNBC and CNN, they are 98% of the time definitely coming in as pro-Democratic. YET, both of these whoring thieve networks pump the right wing, get Bush elected spew 24/7!! They know that the vast number of their audiences are Dem and they just keep it up. Perhaps it is because Dems THINK and seek information; the right go to their fundamentalist churches and let the preacherman tell them what to think. I'm surprised they haven't come up with a "religious hour" in order to pray their way to ratings. Whichever of these con artists figure out that they could royally boost their ratings by being pro-liberal, is going to surge in the ratings...but they are too corporate corrupt.

42. It's actually quite hard to have liberal voices in mass media
Some corporate interests buy time on the air, NOT to sell product, but to control content. You've seen the Archers-Daniel-Midland ads, right? Are you in the market for what they sell? Do you even know what they sell? But they'll underwrite PBS broadcasts to have creative input.

Or, like GE, they'll just buy a network outright.

Need to show our support to our alternative networks. Mine is MSNBC. While I will watch Lou Dobbs and Larry King only if he has someone of interest on. I will no longer vote in any polls they have.

50. Voted...and added my input:
The capture of Osama Bin Laden hasn't happened, despite the promises of post 9-11. Bush has destroyed relationships with allies who could help us find terrorists. The Department of National Security has instituted a color level threat system that is vague and confusing. George Bush fought the formation of a 9-11 commission for over 2 years. Kerry will serve us better.

Gave them my info: I wonder if the FBI will investigate me!
