Question: Will Liberal Radio attend the RNC Convention?
I know there isn't very many of them, but I'd like to see Liberal radio talk hosts attend the RNC convention -- just like the right wing radio hosts attended ours.

4. Part Deux of question..
Will CNN, MSNBC, etc. have Liberal commentators on during the convention? Will they be allowed to ridicule shrub as Joe Scarbrain and others were allowed to do to Kerry at DNC?

7. NYC local station, 1600AM, is going...
..and they are liberal...I especially like drive-time dialogue with Sam Greenfield, he is great! Anyone who considers Dick Armey the worst possible senator ever, is good in my book

10. Yes they will!

Just from hearing them talk about it on the shows, I know that Franken and also the Majority Report will be there.

You can get archives at airamericaplace.com I downloaded the 7/28 MR show and listened to about an hour of it last night.. They had Michael Moore on and were talking about all the rw radio people and how they couldn’t wait to go to the RNC.

I thought that show was very interesting because they are pretty candid about what its been like at the convention with all the right wingers around, plus they have all the big speeches which you can keep for posterity.

16. That would be this little jewel in my home state
RIP free speech and democracy

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A31019-2004Jul31.html

The Albuquerque Journal reported on Friday that people seeking tickets to the Cheney event who could not be identified as GOP partisans -- contributors or volunteers -- were told they could not receive tickets unless they signed an endorsement form saying "I, (full name) . . . do herby (sic) endorse George W. Bush for reelection of the United States." The form warns that signers "are consenting to use and release of your name by Bush-Cheney as an endorser of President Bush."

The paper quoted a Republican official saying a "Democrat operative group" was trying to infiltrate the limited-seating event -- although the party apparently turned away uncommitted voters who simply wanted to hear Cheney speak.

RNC communications director Jim Dyke defended the practice on Friday. "Maybe we should start having joint fundraisers with the DNC," he mused. "Please."

John F. Kerry's campaign has charged that the Bush campaign routinely screens attendees of Bush's speeches, and the Democrats say they do not impose loyalty requirements on crowds for their nominee's speeches.
