FLORIDA GOP voters told BY BUSH TO VOTE ABSENTEE! Wow...

Florida Republican Voters Told to Use Absentee Ballots

A BUZZFLASH READER CONTRIBUTION

You've got to run this image of the GOP flyer calling for the faithful to vote by absentee ballot since the machines have no paper trail. The look on bush's face says it all. "Make sure your vote counts," it states. Logically, that says they've known all along that your vote WON'T count if it's cast by machine.

1. Let's Get The Story Str8
Neither George or Jeb has told the Florida GOP voters to vote absentee. It was the Republican party in Florida that made the mailing and they only sent the flyers out to known Repugs in two sections of Miami.

Since they sent it out and Jeb jumped all over them for it, they have apologized for sending it and are now toeing the party line about how secure the voting machines are. Of course, we know better.

2. But this is a pretty damning condemnation of the machines from the REPUGS
who the machines will favor... I guess they might be thinking a dem might eventually buy the companies who make the machines?

Any scandal about the machines will help people who are against their use.

4. OOOOOOh Lordy
what to do? This mornings Palm Beach Post says scanners are no more reliable the BBV. What in the world are Fla. voters to do? Seems someone has realized that hacking can go both ways, maybe?

By the way - supposedly this was not sanctioned by Jebby.

14. Yeah, Jeb didn't know anything about it.
Besides, it was just all a few mistakes.

You remember, Kathrine Harris mistakenly sent out purge lists which included thousands of non-felon black voters.

And just a month ago, Jeb was caught red-handed with a purge list that had only 61 Hispanic voters proposed for purging, and 22,000 black voters listed as potential purgees.

Seems Jeb's appointed Secretary of State made a big mistake. Yeah!

In Jeb's Florida, all Rethug mistakes benefit Rethug candidates.

6. Well, in that case
everybody should be voting absentee.

Man, doesn't matter if it was only 2 counties. This is a tacit admission by the GOP that they don't believe the voting machines are worth it.

11. sure, that way they can just
throw away all of the Kerry absentee votes. Either way, Jeb will steal Florida for his braindead demon sibling.

7. I had another reaction to it when I heard it
I thought maybe they wanted the republicans to vote absentee so that when it comes time to pull the great fraud, it won't be at the machine level. They can claim that a billion and a half abseentee ballots came in and they were all for George!!!!

8. My theory
Edited on Sat Jul-31-04 12:36 PM by foktarded
When they steal Florida in November and everyone complains that the e-voting was fucked up, they want to be able to say "but Bush's absentee percentage is consistent with the electronic results."

On edit: Apparently the above poster came up with that thoery at the exact same time.

like they care about the integrity of the voting process.

17. Pre-emptive move seems to anticipate plan to cheat
Do they plan to lose the electronic votes in key Democratic counties, and only be able to count the verifiable absentees for Bush?

I smell a big fat Repug rat!
