After all, I'm sure Halliburton would have gotten all those contracts with the gubmit after the Iraq invasion just on their own merits. And I seriously doubt that the arms contractors needed a big war to clear out our stockpile, so they could get fat government contracts to build more machines of death (or "liberation", depending on your viewpoint), right?
