Deficit: Bush position exactly like Kerry's? |
|
Yesterday on NPR, I heard that the Bush plan is to cut the deficit in half over the next 5 years. This is exactly the same as Kerry's position. Of course WE know that Kerry actually intends to do it, and Bush is lying. How do we prove this?
The other thing I heard on NPR was that the RECORD deficit is actually less than expected. WTF? What kind of bullshit is this? They obviously inflated the projection in order to be able to spin it later.
My questions-
How do we counter claims that Bush and Kerry are exactly the same on the deficit?
How do we prove that projections were inflated? Do we need to?
