Bottom line, you will vote for change or to maintain the status quo...
If you are not happy with the direction we are headed, the odds are that you will be a Democrat. But, there is a good chance that many long-time Repubs are not happy with the status quo. They are not happy with the huge deficits. They tend to like the taxcuts but they don't like the idea of borrowing money from Social Security to pay for them. They understand the longterm impact of huge deficits.

Also, many do not like the way the war has been handled in Iraq. They don't like the idea of "preemption" and they are just as disgusted with the Abu Graib abuse photos as are many liberals. Many are not happy with the status quo and this does not bode well for George W Bush. The majority of Americans are ready for a change. They do not wish to continue the present course.
