3. I didn't know they were repugs.
Every time I've tried to watch that show, I could never take more than a couple minutes of it. Makes sense now.

but last I checked Parker said he was a registered libertarian.

Here are some other celebrities that I guess are libertarians.

This is the article "South Park Republicans" that got some attention a while back. I don't know what Parker and Stone thought of it. Andrew Sullivan liked it at the time, for instance, but recently he pretty much admits he is being driven out of the current GOP, and that the Religious Right is running the Party.

Hope this was helpful. Maybe things have changed more recently  ?

4. Funny, it mentions a whole slew of "Hollywood Liberals"
and then Bush and Kerry. I guess that's their idea of "bipartisan".

But of course there is no mention of Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Liely or any of the other right-wing blowhards who are no more qualified to comment on the war than the Hollywood set, yet we have to listen to them blather uncontested EVERY DAMN DAY.

As a matter of fact, I would guess that I hear the RW pundits' opinions at least 50 times as often and in 50 times more detail than the celebs'...

6. Don't be so sure it's 'pug friendly.....
First off, remember these are the guys that gave us "That's My Bush!"

second... an article on the movie

http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=17970

one paragraph... read it carefully...

"The most remarkable head sculpts belong to the other bad guys in the film. “Actually,” said Trey, “they’re not bad. They’re just really really stupid and misguided.” They’re an organization of Hollywood liberals who are determined to stop Team America from interfering in the affairs of international politics. Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, and a permanently mustard-stained Michael Moore are just a few of the celebrities who are going to feel well and truly roasted when they see this film. Even seeing the heads without the film’s puppeteers bringing them to life, they are frighteningly accurate and bitingly funny."

INTERFERING.

Key word.

I SUSPECT that this will do more to make Shrub look BAD than GOOD... "TEAM AMERICA" doing what they think is best for you no matter what YOU think.....

I shall wait and see before condeming....

"First off, remember these are the guys that gave us "That's My Bush!""

That's the only program about a contemporary political figure I've ever seen that didn't actually have anything to do with the figure in question. "Laura" didn't resemble pickles in the least. I can't believe the "South Park" guys did that. Such a dull and unfunny sitcom. It reminded me of "Alf".
